I looked into various PA systems for our Rotary club. We have a great PA built into a lecturen. But it was too heavy to move easily and it did not have the capacity for a wireless microphone. Our club was conflicted about buying a new PA system, when many cost $1000 on up. I found the Pyle PWM-A600 and read the reviews. It looked good for our purposes and the price was amazing, under $130! I found some other systems and sent the information to my board. Our techies liked the Pyle PWM-A600, so we decided to try it. It worked perfectly for a room with about 60 people. Both mikes are shielded on the sides, so you have to speak right into the center of the mike about one inch away. Sometimes the amp buzzes a bit then goes away. I bought a lavaliere mike at Radio Shack for $50 and it works well with it. It been great so far for these 3 months. Great buy!I Love You Madly! The Pyle 100-Watt PA System is truly compact and portable. It operates off its own battery, so charge it up before you use it. I don't know how long the battery will power the unit, but I use it at a poetry venue at a Barnes and Noble which lasts two hours, and the unit worked flawlessly the entire time. For the medium-to-small venue area (four rows of five chairs plus additional seating), the PA System was turned up to maximum volume, but did an above-average job in filling the area with sound. Poets we had not been able to hear before (because they fail to project) were heard clearly for the first time. For such a small, easily carried unit, it delivers more sound than you would expect.

I don't know all the uses, but I purchased this so that my grandchildren could put on shows and get comfortable using a microphone which they are doing now in camp. The two microphones are a great idea as two can "be on stage" at the same time.

They love to sing and speak using the microphone and I think it is giving them confidence to speak in front of a group. As for the quality, I have only used it in my home - in a very large play area - and it works great.

I read many of the reviews of this product, then ordered it hoping my experience would be like the majority of consumers (4-5 stars). I wanted these speakers for my desk at work so I could listen to my iPod on low volume (since work blocks most music sites like Pandora and I like to listen while I type). I can keep the power flowing by plugging into a USB port on my computer. The volume and quality is great for the purpose. Not stereo quality of course, but really nice for $4 speakers! Not tinny at all, and no feedback or other annoying noises.
Note that the hook-up is through the headphone jack, so they should work with pretty much any mp3 player. The jack is on the bottom of the iPod Touch, so I can't put the iPod in the little stand (unless I put it upside-down), but the cord is long enough to lay the iPod on the desk next to the speakers.
Overall, no complaints here! I've been told that I need to order a set for my husband now.

For the money, they are great. I laughed when they arrived. I'm glad I didn't bet if they work I would eat my hat. I am impressed with these, they are not going to blow you away with power. But they do work well for situations that you want to share your music with friends that are nearby and not bother those that are farther away. They fold up to fit in almost any pocket. We have used them on our boat fishing, grilling out, public picnic areas, beach, etc. And they sound better than I thought they would. I am impressed. If you want something that your going to blast, buy something else, but also buy these, for the money you will find situations that they are handy.

By that price you will not obtain anything better. They do not hope either that it is of hi-fi, but this very well. Perhaps only they need that they update plug and to put it underneath; new iPod is connected underneath and this forces to put it in the base the other way around. But very good, the batteries last much.

Recieved the speakers today and I loved it. As I already have the AC Adapter it was even better as no need to connect it to the computer or no need to use batteries. You cant really beat this price in the market for the quality of sound these speakers generate.

This was a great item we needed it quickly for the children's demonstration. It arrived safely packed and quickly. Easy to use and transport. Compact and not too heavy for even the kids to pack around. Would be nice if it had a protective cover and a way to keep cords attached to the unit but we managed. It has a great output for sound even if not using an I-Pod. Would definitely recommend it for activites that require music and/or speaking to audience. Also got a great deal with shipping via Amazon:)

Block Rocker is awesome with the battery replacement

The Block Rocker rocked the block until the battery stopped working 3 years later. I called Ion (gettting in contact with them is near impossible) to get a replacement battery and they are on back order for over a month at $99/battery. I would never pay $99 for a battery which is half the price I paid for the unit.

I love this thing. I have both a block-rocker and a tail-gater. We use them for our wedding business, and have never had a problem with either, despite hauling them all over the place in our van and using them on the beach. They are reasonably priced, good quality, and easy to use.

The block rocker is a little heavy to really carry around (though it does have wheels and a handle), but the tail gater doesn't pack enough punch (audio wise) for large outdoor gatherings. So I wish they made something in between. But otherwise I love them both.

In fact, I am logged on right now to order another one of each for one of our other offices!

I actually received a defective product at first, but Amazon's amazing customer service and return policy quickly (amazingly quick, in fact!) corrected the problem. The new product appears to work well, and my wife (for whom I bought the amp) is happy with the new unit so far. All in all, a good purchasing experience -- but mainly thanks to Amazon, rather than to the product itself. The amp may be fine, but I can't help but feel hesitant about the manufacturer's quality control after the first device's failure. For some reason, it seems a lot of companies are skipping the quality assurance stage these days, and frankly, that's getting tiresome.

This replaces a Harmony 1000 that was a virtual paperweight. It set up easy and after a few tweaks runs my system perfectly. It does suck that you can't do macros, but I knew that coming into it so I can't complain. I just needed a remote that could be used by anyone to get my TV, Receiver, Blu-Ray and DVD changer to work together... and it does that flawlessly. No missed signals and just a few tweaks on delays and it works 100% of the time. It's also very easy to switch to run individual components. All in all, it's great.

I consider myself a savvy tech user. I would have imagined that others buying this remote would be too. That's why I found the setup process almost too dumbed down, making fine tuning adjustments difficult for "power" users. However, after playing with the software for a couple of hours I have been able to get the remote to do pretty much whatever I've wanted it to do. Sometimes I'll be sitting there and want it to perform a task that I've never considered before. I go to the software and setup a macro on the touch screen buttons, and wha-lah! It works very well, is incredibly customizable, looks great, and I've had no problems with its use. Great remote.

No Problems So Far

So far .. so good. Hopefully they got the button problems worked out. Also the contacts on the remote and charge cradle are a lot bigger - that's good. I guess my main gripe is that it seems to be really slow. Controlling the Guide Screen on DirecTV , it seems like a couple of seconds before the screen pops up .... makes you think that it didn't get the signal and you hit the button again .... only to go past what you're trying to get to because it finally acknowledges 2 button presses. Hopefully, my statement makes some sense. Overall, seems to do what I want it to do.

It must be a lot more difficult then it appears to seamlessly engineer one remote that can "intuitively" integrate all of your remotes into one, but Logitech managed to do just that. After programming my various remotes into it, which was effortless with their software, it only took a little experimentation and noodling around to learn all of its bells and whistles and I haven't had a problem with it yet. So far, I've had it for 2 weeks and haven't had to recharge it. I've put all of my old remotes in a drawer... See Ya! :)

Awesome Remote

I purchased this remote in hopes that we could go from 6 different remotes down to one. (SUCCESS) It was way to hard to explain to people staying at my house how to set everything up in order to watch a movie, play a video game, or simply watch TV. This remote has made it simple. I just have to tell them to hit the button for the activity they want and they are all set. One click to turn everything on for whatever activity they want. The baby sitter is much happier now.

It worked great on all devices except one which I knew about prior to buying the remote. You can check for your devices on Logitech's web site. I hope they add that to their list of devices soon.

Overall it was awesome. Easy to use and setup.

Excellent Universal Remote replaces 4!

This remote controls a Pioneer Elite Pro-111FD , Pioneer Elite VSX-21TXH Receiver , Directv HR23-700 DVR , and a Toshiba HD-A2 HD-DVD Player. It took a while to get the activities working properly. I needed to add a delay to the receiver in order to have its inputs switch properly. I could not add this delay through the Harmony remote site (it allows it but the setting won't transfer to the remote). Through a hint on a forum I went ahead and added the delay through the remote control itself by pressing the help button for a few seconds and going from there. I set the delay for 2000ms. After that, the activities sequences work properly. If I wam watching tv and decide to go on the internet, I just press the "PC" (name is customizable) activity on the display and the DVR turns off, the receiver switches to the pc connection for sound and the TV switches to HDMI input 5. I have an always-on Acer Aspire X1301 and PS3 that are not controlled via the Harmony 700 but are part of my home theater setup using the receiver and tv. The control's buttons are customizable if you do not want to search through the control's display. Perhaps I will get the PS3 adapter later. The display and buttons light up as soon as you pick up the remote. It looks good to have one remote laying around instead of 4!

After my wife and kids complained about the multitude of remotes needed to operate the home theater I purchased this remote. There is a learning curve with devices like these, just take your time, RTFM and go for it.
I played around with it for several days before putting away all the other remotes. Once I had everything working the way I needed it to I showed the rest of the family how to use it. On occasion it will lose track of the power state of one of my devices but a quick press of the help button always resolves the issue. The only issue is the patience factor. You do have to keep it pointed at the devices while it runs the the setup. My youngest always seems to set it down about halfway through. If your looking for a quick automatic set up look elsewhere this device will just frustrate you. If you want a device that will allow you total customizable control of your electronics these remotes work great you just need to learn how to use it. Been using this thing for several months now and have not had to pull out the OEM remotes once. Found a refurb for about half what a new one was and haven't had a single failure.

Perfect Remote

The Harmony line of remotes have been fantastic. Previous to this one I had an older 659 (I think, can't remember) that was with me for 3 or 4 years before it finally died out. Setting up these remotes couldn't be easier with the guided online wizard, and any tweaks you need to make are also easy. The only negative to setup is the overall slow speed of the sync once changes have been made and need to be applied.

I've had this model for about 3-4 years now. The USB port on my old one finally broke. The PC couldn't recognize it. I blame my kid who bangs it once in a while and I can see that area clog with dirt. I decided to buy the same one refurbished. Works great as usual. I like it because it works with my Bose which uses Radio Signals. The furthest I am from my devices is 20 feet and it works great. No problems. The software is also easy to use.

Harmony remotes have always been my favorite. Their low-end models (without the color touch screens, etc) have always been enough to control my various home theater setups over the years, and the 670 is perfect for controlling the TiVo HD. I get about a month of use on a set of rechargeable AAA batteries, and although the remote doesn't have a built-in battery charger, it's not hard to pop out the batteries and put them in the charger overnight. I had to do nothing special at all to upgrade to this 670 from my previous Harmony 659, as the Windows software did all the upgrading for me. I Highly recommend this model!

I now have 4 harmony remotes, one for each room. This last one, the 650, replaces another harmony which did not have the primary color buttons for more convenient use with my satellite provider on the front. I could certainly use the customized screen to create colored buttons but as these are buttons that I use frequently, I typically use that LCD screen for less commonly used options like aspect ratio or subtitle toggle. Don't worry I gave my neighbor the old harmony to audition with his system. He'll soon be adopting a harmony mindset and replace remotes throughout his house, I am sure. I love the harmony remote controls.

Grea Video Quality- HD and even when I zoom in it still comes out fantastic. I don't quite feel the photos work the same with the zoom. For some reason the pictures are a little pixelated when I zoom in all the way, but the videos are not. I'm not sure the technicality of why the zoom works better with the video than with the photos, but it doesn't stop me from loving this camera. It's still FAR better than any other zoom camera I've used.

I bought this camera for my girlfriends birthday to replace her broken camera. What can I say? This camera is fantastic!! The number of features the camera has is perfect including the 14 MP image quality, 8x optical zoom, 15/30/60 second shutter speed for nighttime shots, movie mode, continuous picture mode, etc.

The camera has a few weaknesses, but out of a $150 digital point-and-shoot, that is to be expected. Under low level lighting with full zoom, the picture quality gets grainy and the video mode needs a Class 6 or better memory card. Low level lighting in general is a challenge for the camera. Controls are fairly intuitive, LCD screen is big and bright. The camera, for what it is worth, is a great camera and could rival those that are much more expensive. For a simple point-and-shoot fit-in-the-pocket camera, this gets an A+.

Our Fuji Finepix 3600 finally bit the dust after 6 years of very good service. We had never felt the need to replace it because the pictures were good enough for our use. How wrong we were. The pictures from this Panasonic camera are so much clearer, the colors more vivid, the details sharper. It was dramatic. My wife can even take good pictures with this camera, previously all of hers were blurry now they are sharp. Our dogs wagging tail is clear instead of blurry (It is seldom still). It took excellent pictures in bright sunlight and dark interior. It seems well made, not cheap. It did not come with a photo card so be sure to order one. I did not know there were different classes within the cards. other reviews and the instructions say if you plan to take videos you need at least a class 6 SD card. We have one ordered. For now we have a cheap 4GB Class 4 Sandisc SDHC card and it has done very well but have not taken any videos with it. Overall and excellent buy and I highly recommend it.

This camera is the best value out there for the money. The combination of wide angle lens and 18X zoom works great for a shot at any distance. Menus are easy to use, and the "auto" mode makes good selections and is very easy to use. I wish the sunshade had a little more rigid mounting, but it does work well. I am a total amateur, but the camera takes really great photos without a lot of photography knowledge.

I am so pleased with my purchase. After months of research and the thought of purchasing a DSLR I opted for the Lumix. I decided that ultimately I wanted something lightweight and the Lumix FZ 35 has far exceeded my expectations. I consider myself an amateur photographer and take a lot of wildlife photos, I am really happy with the quality, the choices on the menu and the overall performance of the camera. Panasonic is my preferred camera at this point. I also own a smaller Panasonic Lumix point and shoot which I still have as well. I wanted to downsize from a dSLR to a smaller camera because the bigger camera was just too heavy to lug around my neck all day especially since I had a zoom lens on it. I also wanted a small camera that had a viewfinder. Sometimes you just can't see that back screen well enough to take a good picture. Of course I wanted to have the option of manually setting camera speed, aperture etc. plus I wanted, perhaps, to take a short video of some amazing scene on one of my trips.

I bought the Panasonic FZ-35 and have had it now for about 6 months. It takes absolutely gorgeous photos...crisp images, accurate colors in all lighting situations. The camera's IntelligentAuto is often smarter than I am and takes a better balanced picture than I do. I now do very little editing with photo software. As I expected, the viewfinder comes in handy for some shots. The camera is light and easy to carry around all day even hanging around my neck. I have an impressive zoom lens.

I've gone through a slew of large and small cameras looking for one that produced sharp photos and that didn't require that I take extra lens with me. I finally found what I was looking for in this camera and would recommend its purchase to anyone. I'd put my photos up against those from a dSLR anytime.

I purchased this camera after reading reviews about many other cameras of this type. I was influenced to buy by the screen size, the GPS feature, and other reviews. I also looked at photos taken by other photographers with the camera.
Although I have not had the chance to sit down with the manual (which you have to print out--bummer!) and go through all of the features, the point and shoot photos I've taken have been outstanding. I like the video feature and the better microphone than my old Nikon. I look forward to learning to use this camera to its full capacity before I go to Japan in December.

Lightweight, good screen, easy to use so far, many features--what's not to like? It's a little more spendy than I had planned, but not bad, considering all the features.

I'm a total amateur photgrapher but you rarely see me without my camera- I use it all the time. After extensive reading of the consumer reviews including the comments to the reviews,and my own list of why I want a new camera after 5 years of using a Canon Powershot, I bought the ZS7 Lumix. It has enough zoom for me, a metal case, and first of all a great Leica lense. The only bad reviews of this camera turned out to be things like "Can't turn GPS off so it eats your battery, or "Can't buy a generic battery for it"- none of it is true. I immediately turned off the GPS, and if I ever need it, I know how turn it back on. I have taken beautiful pictures of flowers, great night skylines. Tried the party setting, candle light setting and pin hole setting and liked the results. It doesn't wash out the colors like my old Canon, it takes decent low-light pictures but the most amazing is the 12X plus zoom. I also like to mention that the quality of the color blue is close to reality- a real problem with my Canon before. For a camera that's easy to carry, easy to use under $300 I am just thrilled.

I have really enjoyed the GPS function and have found that if you leave it in airplane mode it does not use much of the battery power. I really like bringing the pictures up in Picasa and being able to see exactly where the pictures were taken. Once you turn the camera on it will register your gps location fairly soon after being powered up. I have owned the camera for approximately 3 weeks and have taken many pictures and not one of them has been bad. I have taken pictures both inside and outside. The zoom capability on this camera is fantastic.

nuvi 855 to Utah

The nuvi 855 arrived about one week before our planned trip to SE Utah. Learning the basic commands took less than an hour. The next day I took the nuvi along on some local errands and was pleasantly surprised with the numerous displays of local content and side roads yet to be explored. However, the most impressive feature feature was the rapid route "recalculation" done whenever I intentionally chose a road other than the one initially suggested.

Once we were on the road to Utah, the nuvi display information was even more helpful than expected. The nuvi calculated mph was actually more accurate than our RV's speedometer and the display of local speed limits was very helpful. Also loved the "estimated time of arrival" feature which helped us determine our targets for the next overnite destination. The POI lisitng for fuel stops, restaurants and services were also very helpful.

My wife and I both love exploring backroads and out of the way places, so the part we appreciated most was the freedom to head "off-track" and have the nuvi quickly reroute us and update the eta, so we felt confident we would eventually find our way back to the original destination. Great fun.

Great Features Very Good Value

I would definitely recommend this GPS. A year ago we got lost for 2 hours while driving to our vacation spot, so I had vowed to have a GPS before we went this year. I wanted a back up in case I missed a turn. I then took the past year looking at and evaluating GPS models, trying to determine what I thought had the most useful features for the money. I eventually narrowed my search to Garmin focusing on 3 models, the 855, the 885T, and the 765T. I eventually decided on the 855. I liked the voice recognition and I found it very useful on the trip. I may have bought the 885T, but I did not feel that the Bluetooth and the included traffic receiver were worth the additional $100+. The 765T included traffic, but did not have voice recognition. I am very happy with my decision and I would make the same choice if I had to do it again.

I just slide the power button over for about 8 seconds and it resets the unit. I guess I live with it because as a sales rep, I am a heavy user, and the voice recognition is simply amazing. That's What Made It Even More Impressive

This Flip MinoHD camcorder is amazing-- the ideal thing for any family hoping to videotape the kids, friends, events, etc. First of all, it's completely idiot proof: when you get the box, there is absolutely no assembly required. Your first guess about which buttons are the power switch, record button, and USB connector release will be correct; great intuitive design. The device looks and feels great (as other reviewers have mentioned) and easily fits in your hand comfortably for long periods of time (unlike my blackberry). It turns on and off instantly (unlike my home computer or cell phone) so you don't have to wait long to start recording that precious, fleeting moment.

The screen is a bit larger than the previous Flip Mino, but that's not a big deal. Image quality is better than ever, and not too shaky/bouncy. The USB connector is about the same-- still very convenient, easy to connect, and you don't have to go running to find any special USB connector cable (like my old digital camera). The audio is surprisingly good, picking up faint background sounds that I hadn't even noticed at the time of recording and picking up simultaneous music and voices, near and far, with great quality. The 2-hour battery life is more than I ever use, so it's great, but I figure people who are videotaping entire concerts or watching grass grow might complain. Honestly I haven't made use of the HD resolution, but I'm sure that will be fantastic when I start making my own rainforest nature shows. In the meantime, the HD quality is better than anything I'll ever need. By the way, I know other reviewers have said they can make the camcorder freeze up by zooming in or out during recording, but mine works fine even when I do that. (I purposely tried to freeze it, but couldn't.)

I saved the best for last: the Flip Video software. That's what made it even more impressive! It is ridiculously easy to setup, automatically starts when I plug in the camcorder, and makes it completely obvious how to download the videos, play back, freeze frames to make photos, and share. And it's fast-- not much waiting for videos to load up (like other video players). It's all in an easy-to-use, well-organized (by video date) layout very similar to the iPod control panel (a common comparison, it seems). I wish all software was this easy to use.

Before it you wanted to take videos of your family is required getting a large video camera, a separate bag for it, and then of course lugging it around all the time and not forgetting it so you can get those candid shot. I bought this camera for me and my wife. We had just had our first child and we wanted to use it to capture those little moments that sometimes get by you and there's no camera around. Let me tell you it is perfect for not only that but for any other ocassion. We recently took it to the beach with us and it was great for that also. Video quality and sound is great for such a small package.

The things I did'nt like. (there were not many.)
The screen on the back gets fingerprints on it all the time, but they do wipe off easily. The screen is kinda hard to see in really bright sunlight as with any other I guess. I think it should come with an ac adapter for the price.

If I could go back I would definitely buy this camera again. It is just so handy to have around.

This is really an amazing little device. As small as a deck of playing cards (smaller, really, as it is more narrow), this little jewel easily fits into a shirt or pants pocket where it is always at the ready to capture very good quality video & sound. Notice I said "very good" and not "excellent" - but what would one expect from such a tiny video camera? If you are looking for top-of-the-line video & sound quality, look elsewhere. But, if you want very good quality from a camera that is oh-so-convenient, this is a camera you should consider.

I have used this camera to shoot video both inside & outside, and have been pleased with the results each time. Video quality is crisp and clear, even in typical interior light, and the sound quality is surprising. Simple to operate, with very functional & intuitive software, I have found this unit to be a pleasure to own & operate. I have used it on both my 15" Macbook Pro, as well as my brand new 27" iMac, and have had no problems connecting the camera both directly to USB ports on both systems, as well as using a short 6" USB extension cable that I had in my large collection of spare cables. I prefer using the cable, as I find "hanging" the Flip directly from a USB port to be a little cumbersome, but that is just my preference - again, it works fine either way. So, the previously-reported issue with Mac USB ports has been resolved.

I use the FlipShare application primarily for downloading video from the camera & for organizing my library of "raw" clips. From FlipShare, I export the video out as MP4 files - a simple task - then pull the exported videos into iMovie '09 and / or iDVD '09 on my Mac, as these are my preferred methods for editing my video clips & burning them to DVD. This process works very well for me & I have zero complaints with FlipShare (although I admittedly have not used all the features of the software).

The only negative I can come up with regarding this little gem is it's lack of a removable rechargeable battery. While the camera will hold 2 hours of video, which is also the length of time the battery will run the camera, I am concerned about when the battery has been through its lifetime recharge cycles and no longer will hold a charge. I am assuming at that time I will be able to find a repair service to install a new battery (as with iPods), as I would hate to throw it away just because the battery is dead. I almost docked it a star for this, but ultimately decided against it as I just love how convenient it is! Light and small, it is something that I can take anywhere without being burdened by large carrying cases or bags, chaffing neck straps, etc. In fact, I just slip it into my Caselogic UP-2 Universal Pockets Bag and then slip that in my pants pocket or hang it from a belt loop by the small caribiner on the bag. Very handy & out of the way! Highly recommended...

Love at first Flip

This is my first video camera of any kind, and I am totally in love. I'm a bit technologically challenged, and so was pleasantly surprised to discover that the "set up" of this camera was easier than setting the time on my sports watch, and consisted only of scrolling through the date and time. Within thirty seconds of turning on the camera, I was ready to begin shooting my first movie clip. Unlike the digital point-and-shoot cameras I have owned, the menu and functions on this camera are completely intuitive. In no time at all, I had figured out how to start, stop, delete, replay, and scroll through my first few movie clips. I also needed no direction to view and maneuver the clips in wide-screen playback mode, and could therefore offer instant gratification to my children, who eagerly awaited the opportunity to see and hear themselves on film. Transferring the files to my computer was equally self-explanatory: within a minute or two of plugging the camera into a USB port, the software was installed, and I had named, saved, and emailed myself my favorite of the movie clips I'd just created. The image quality was excellent, even on the full screen of my computer display.

If I had to identify any drawbacks to this camera, I would say that the somewhat limited zoom range makes close-up shots of moving images (like my children) a bit challenging at first, and that you need a somewhat steady hand to avoid creating bumpy images. However, after only a few practice runs, I found that I was able to minimize these issues to my satisfaction. Overall, the ease of use, crisp images, and user-friendliness of this camera make it an absolute asset for any number of different contexts. I couldn't be more pleased.

Easy to use, easy to upload, amazing quality

You ever try to show your mom or dad how to use technology. Remember when the first dvd player came out and everyone was like what does that button do, remember to rewind the DVD to the begining when your done. There was so much to learn. This item is so easy to use my 6 year old nephew figured it out on his own. press power and press the red button boom. then when you put it on your HD tv you really see what the big deal is. The resolution is amazing. On top of that you don't have to buy an sd card for it. Out of the box its ready to go. One warning It takes FOREVER to charge all the way. And you don't have to install software for an hour to take your videos off. I definately recomend it for someone who wants a simple camcorder and with great quality.

I race cars and I needed a very simple to use video camera to place in the race car for "in car" video. I am very happy with the purchase as it takes nice high quality video, stores 4 hours of data, the battery lasts fairly long for a digital device, and it has the flip screen to watch the play back in case it is needed in protests. What I didn't expect is that I would find this so useful and fun for uses outside of the race car application. I soon found myself carrying this thing with me all the time especially on vacations. The other thing I really like is the software that came with it which makes it a snap to share out to YouTube and Facebook. Yes the software is a little cludgey as far as file maintenance of the videos but the sharing aspect and the fact that you can freeze a frame to create a snapshot make this icing on the cake. Make sure you buy the wall jack charger which charges the unit faster than being connected to a USB slot on a computer. There are far more AC outlets than USB slots when you are on vacation or away from home. This was a good buy.....

Previously owned Sony wireless headphones. I had 2 pairs that snapped just above the earpiece. Thought I would try a more expensive pair and I am very pleased. I wish the on-off control worked like the sony and would turn on when you placed them on your head. Sony's sound is line of sight, so if you move around the room you can lose the sound -- not so with the Sennheiser. Overall, well worth the extra $.

The head set is the best! My mom who has hearing issues, uses the headphones to enjoy TV. She can walk all over her home and hear as if she is sitting next to the TV. We tried other brands and there was always static and she could not leave the room.

I believe the Sennheiser Company should be marketing this product through AARP publications to senior citizens as the need is so great for this type of product with this level of quality.

I purchased the original Xtreamer without the SideWinder passive cooling but purchased it separately. This is a great media player and plays everything that I need it to play right up to 1080p .m2ts and .mkv (I had a WDTV Live and returned it since it would not play a small number of files). There have been frequent firmware updates to fix bugs and add new features, and now I am enjoying podcasts, streaming live TV like BBC News and Sky News, and numerous radio stations. There is an active community of users as well who are making their own custom RSS feeds for "Xtreamer Live!" to add additional content for users to enjoy.

This new model addresses some of the issues that the original Xtreamer had -- a noisy fan (this new unit is now silent) and lack of DTS HD MA and TrueHD bitstreaming (this model includes the same new updated Realtek chipset as the Xtreamer Pro). There is also a new firmware in the works to include a much-requested media jukebox feature (though not necessary IMO it is nice to have).

The biggest weakness however is the remote, which feels cheap and you need to aim it almost directly at the Xtreamer. I would recommend buying a programmable universal remote such as the URC R6 (an excellent remote which you can pick up new on eBay for as little as $10), it will make the Xtreamer feel like a whole new machine.

This player is the best i tried the patriot box office (return it they always come out with new boot codes wich only them can upgrade slow firmware updates & very buggy) cinematube 3-1 (send back for the newer model) then the cinemago (return it firmware bug) had a weird bug that make me lost all my files of my seagate freeagent go 500GB (after playing media on it the player crash so i din't turn it on again & bang my hardrive was shown in my computer as corrupted same on the seagate software it fix the hardrive but all my files gone they got corrupted with couple of partions of the hardive) lucky i had a backup hardrive otherwise it would it have been a total nightmare/catastrophe!!!

I just purchased this Xtreamer Pro unit, and received it a few days ago. So far, I am very happy with the unit. I originally purchased an Eminent EM7080 from another on line retailer, but for some unknown reason, they never delivered the unit. The retailer said that the unit was to ship directly from the manufacturer, and they ended up sending an email to the retailer saying that the unit would not be shipping. I can only imagine that there must be either something wrong with the design, or they just don't have any production units to send me. I have since checked with the retailer, and they have removed the unit from their web site, so I am thinking that there may be a problem with the units design. I paid $348 for the EM7080 unit, and am I happy that they didn't send it! This Xtreamer unit is only $200, and it has up to 4 times the hard drive capacity. 4 TBs !!! It looks like it can decode many formats. I was a little bummed out at first, because I own an Archos media player, that also records (in AVI format), and I already had many digital recordings that I wanted to be able to watch from the Xtreamer. Unfortunately, the Xtreamer can't decode the audio stream that the Archos unit encodes with (it says UNKNOWN AUDIO FORMAT). The video plays back, but with no audio. It would be very nice if the folks at Xtreamer can get that to work. This doesn't mean that the Xtreamer can't play back AVI video (with audio). Apparently, there are different audio formats that work with the AVI format. I also have a Hado HD video recorder (1280 x 720p) that encodes in the AVI format, and these play back very nicely on the Xtreamer. It also plays back my Flip recorder videos with no problems. I am getting tired of seeing 640 x 480 video on my HD 63" Samsung Plasma anyway. Maybe its time to get a decent HD Video Camera! But this thing really makes it easy to watch your video files. It functions as a NAS (network attached storage) device, and this is how I am getting my files onto the Xtreamer hard drive. In fact, when I copy files from my Hado, I copy them directly to the Xtreamer. DONE. You can create folders that relate to the content on the Xtreamers hard drive, so this helps to organize all of your stuff. I have also been enjoying the internet streaming, something that I didn't think that I would be too interested in. But, I do like watching NBC's world news with Brian Williams, and if you get home too late to see it... No Worries! You can stream it in later... and the best part of that is NO COMMERCIALS!!! It doesn't come in HD, sadly, but still full screen, and its not bad.
The internet streaming feature is actually pretty cool. When I first installed the hard drive ( i used a WD 1.5 TB green) the instructions say you must format the drive in the device, which I did. It said that it was using the NTFS format, and I was wondering how long that might take. It only took a brief moment. I thought that this couldn't possibly be right, but it seems to be working with no problems, and it is reporting the full size of the drive. I am not sure how that could only take a moment, but happy that I didn't have to wait around for it.

I am thinking that you can't go wrong with this unit, and I am now thinking about getting another one for the living room TV setup. I hope this helps! L8ter!

I have been looking for a while for a media network streamer that would allow to stream HD material from my home network or USB HDD supporting 1080/24p format. Xtreamer is the ultimate answer and it does this job perfectly. It is so easy to setup and operate like nothing I have ever seen. It is also VERY FAST. No delays or waiting for .iso files to be read and displayed. Playback starts almost instantly upon pressing select button. It supports pretty much every format on the market and its development team works hard to keep the firmware up to date. I am looking forward to check it's other capabilities, web browsing, access to on line channels. I highly recommend this product. I personally bought a Egreat EG-M34A in the past (loved that device as well) and needed another for my bedroom TV set. One of the things that was missing from the EGreat device was Real media (RM/RMVB) support. In search for another player I came across this device due to many positive reviews seen in media player forums (MPC and others). This device works as advertised with excellent 1080p resolution. Xtreamer user forum is very active and helpful if you every have any questions about the product. I bought the EG-M34A from Amazon seller "Jytec Electronics" and same this time around. The 3d from dvd or Directv is truly amazing, but this set excels at everything. It has the best picture I have ever seen and we own 8 hdtvs in 3 houses. There is a lack of 3D over the air programing so far, but expect ti in quantity around Christmas. The TV does a version of 3D for normal 2D TV and it does work reasonably well on sporting events.I purchased the set when my old Sony CRT set died suddenly and have no regrets about the purchase, even though there is a lack of content so far.

I love this gps..it is my 3rd garmin. I am not completely satisfied with the bluetooth and having it recognize my phone book (works about 2 out of 10 times). The sound for the bluetooth is less than my 765T that I had. Voice recognition can be amusing but works most of the time. Overall, I love it...very impressed.

I have purchased four of these drives so far. Two 320 GB drives were purchased more than two years ago and are still working well. The other two are more recent purchases. I recently purchased a Toshiba Canvio drive after I was lured into buying it due to its low "Deal of the Day" price. The Toshiba drive was defective right out of the box and never worked. I returned the Toshiba Canvio to Amazon and replaced it with a Seagate FreeAgent Go 500 GB drive, which worked perfectly from the start. The Seagate FreeAgent Go was also recognized by my son's MacBook Pro without any problem. I have been satisfied with Seagate drives and will continue to return to that brand as a customer.

Great new iPod Touch

I think that people are being extremely overly picky about the camera. It's not a "horrible" camera by any means, especially for being in a device under 8mm thick. No, it's not as good as the iPhone 4's camera (FOR STILL SHOTS). It's not meant to be a digital camera, nor is it advertised to be. It's advertised and meant to be a VIDEO camera, which it does a great job with. If you thinking about upgrading from a current iPod touch 3G or older, I would definitely recommend it! (if you have 300 extra dollars lying around)

I have never written a review before, but I had to for this product. I have shown my new iTouch off to all my friends and they now all want one. It holds sooo much of my life too. I can take ALL my photos with me to show off and play movies to keep my kids quiet in waiting rooms. The download speed is also fantastic! Thanks Apple!

I totally agree with LosCA, i would only add to his comments that the ipod still lacks of MANUAL EQUALIZER SETTINGS (nine bands would be ideal, but seven could be enough) and they could also add the option to display a SPECTRUM ANALIZER while playback (i know, kind of 80's nostalgia but anyway... these options would be SOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOL to have in the touch!!), these would add almost $0 cost to apple, but they keep holding available options to next years relaunch. The thing is i just can't help it and keep buying every year the new Ipod Touch......

Replacement Whistler, March 26, 2010

I replaced an acient Whistler that missed four different cops shooting something on the Interstate on a trip to FL. I then took another trip to FL with the XTR-265 and it showed me every cop plus is better at ignoring auto doors. I picked this unit for the reputation of Whistler from my experience and written reviews. Now that I have a unit that will show me the cops everywhere I can travel without worrying about speed traps. This unit also remembers the last settings so you don't have to change them every time you start your car. BTW: I still have my original Fuzz Buster from the 70's sitting on a shelf as a memento.

The detector is good overall. It does go off from interference, but that doesn't really bother me because it shows it's working. Since 90% of the interference is on the X band, which is considered obsolete for police use (I've never seen police using it either) there is a mode that doesn't detect X band, virtually eliminating false readings. I've really only seen K band used by police. I recommend this detector, but don't use it to drive dangerously..

It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some of the more expensive units have but all I wanted was a basic detector to warn me in advance which this detector does perfectly. Got a fabulous deal on a used one in "very good" condition from an Amazon seller-- fast ship, absolutely pristine condition! This is my first iPod and I am not disappointed. It's just a mini-version of the iPad-- or so it seems to me. Lots of apps and podcasts available to appeal to all tastes and age groups. The only complaint I have is that the earbuds fall out of my ears no matter how I adjust the earbuds. Guess I just need a different type of headphone. I share this with my 8yo daughter so there's plenty of room in it for all her music and apps as well as my own. Its use is pretty intuitive for the most part, but there's still plenty to learn to get the most out of it. If this is going to be your first iPod Touch, you might want to get a guidebook to walk you through all the cool things it can do and how to work with iTunes. The book I used was called, iPod: The Missing Manual, Eighth Edition (Safari Books), and I found it to be really helpful (lots of pix always helps!).

nice system for the price

I bought this PA for an outdoor beach wedding, and I think it is going to work out well. It is plenty loud. The only thing that concerns me is that the 100-foot range of the included microphone is pretty strict (might have even been less). I am not going to take the chance with it. Instead, I bought a wireless receiver that came with a standard and a lapel mic and a much greater range (150 feet at least). Overall I am happy with this PA. It is well worth the thrifty price.

I purchased 6 of these based on a recommendation from a professional associate to use at a martial arts event. They work great. Delivery was very fast and every one worked perfectly. The only thing I needed to purchase was a a 3.5mm male (on each end) patch cable to connect other music players that were not iPods or iPhones. Battery life is excellent and the wireless microphones were a cool addition.

Great portable PA system

Easily portable with a chargable battery, great loud system for the price. The PA system is excellent.

Mic works well - but only if it is held right next to your mouth. Extra inch and it doesn't pick up well. I bought a Shure headset microphone to use with the PA.

Excellent upgrade from my Logitech QuickCam Pro

Installation was a breeze, it took less than 3 minutes to install. I am using it in a Windows 7 OS environment. Unlike most webcam installations, this one was up and running in no time. It has a user-friendly and a very easy to navigate interface/menu. High Definition is pretty much the norm for resolution qualities now-a-days. The Logitech C910 I consider is the "high-end" webcam for the average user. The webacm sits on my 23 widescreen monitor, it balances perfectly on my monitor even though it does not have a clip. However, this might not work so well with laptops.

It takes crystal clear snapshots using 10 mega pixels (software enhanced), not even my digital camera is that high in mega pixels. The webcam is not as high quality using it on video chat (HD 720p), but it still beats the other webcam I was using before. I really don't think I will be using the video recorder feature often since I really can't see a need to record myself sitting in front of my desktop but I decided to try it anyways. When I tested the picture quality recording a video, it was clear (HD 1080p) and the sound was superb. Check out the attached video review for yourself (please disregard my Spanglish accent). The videos are saved in .wmv format. The widescreen lens allows a wider camera view compared to the average "square box" - so much more fits in the camera's view. The LightRight 2 technology automatically adjust the lighting conditions in the camera's view, no need to be fusing around with the settings.

It offers a 60-day trial of Logitech FastAccess facial recognition software. You can subscribe for this service that offers facial recognition to access Internet banking, email, etc without the hassle of remembering all your passwords. It can also lock your system to avoid use from unauthorized individuals.

Another awesome fun feature is the Logitech Video Effects. You can use Avatars that will follow your movements and mimic your speech as you chat with your friends. Add face accessories and masks to snapshots or video chat. Distort you image by adding visual video affects like stretching your face, big buggy eyes or distorting the color. There are tons of features to choose from and you can even download additional avatars and accessories direct from Logitech free of charge.

The webcam even offers a motion sensor feature that you can set up to record with a date and time stamp when there is any movement in front of the camera.

Overall great webcam. Major improvement to the Logitech QuickCam Pro I was using before. The Logitech Quickcam Pro offered most of the features listed on the C910, but now I have HD widescreen quality with vivid colors and superb resolution.

I was a little nervous getting a digital camera. It's a high-quality camera and a great product. The picture quality is excellent and the sound quality is average. It's my first camcorder of any type and I love the crystal clear 1080P. The only thing I hate about it is actually needing to shave because the picture quality is so good.

I've never had a webcam before. All I've used is the built in isight on my Apple, and that just for phone calls with my immediate family. Since this is really my first experience with a webcam, it is hard for me to compare it to others or to know if its performance is better or worse than comparable models.

I can state that it was easy to set up and to install the software. The image is far superior to my isight! It's like the difference between a Ferrari and a Yugo. I've had it up for a week now and anxious to find people who want to chat!

Great webcam for Windows 7 and Mac

I've used it with my Windows 7 laptop and my Mac mini. Works great with both. Great in low light. Everyone I Skype with complements my image quality and sound. The only snags I had were that I installed the software off the cd and that completely froze my Windows box and never worked well. I uninstalled the software and went to the logitech website and installed it from there and no problems. No drivers for Mac which means all the nice features that come with the software are not available, but quality image nevertheless.

I finally made the jump and bought an ipod so that I can enjoy it at the gym. I think that one devide that do a lot of things don't provide an acceptable result of each aplication. Like my phone Blackberry , that do everything in a poor way. The only bad thing is that this version of ipod is that it don't have cros fade between the musics, like the new nano - it's a unbelievable feature that i miss. If i lost this one i certant will buy another one. I do not wanna a multi function thing (For Game player - I also have a great altec laptop, for web i don't change my notebook enjoyment, for photo or video i prefer to use my Canon and it's quality and features). I want the best quality, easy to use player for my trips and car sound database,it works with my bose car theater. It is my first ipod. I also have the shuffle for the Gym, and my friends have the new nano.

i've been living with this product for two months. i used have 32gb 1st gen touch for movies. then i traded it for this one. i've noticed screen is adjusted for widesreen better than the older classics and videos. and the resolution is amazing. as music play the sound is amazing. i love the longer battery life. i can use it for 3-4 days on a single charge. i'm planning to get a video cable for this ipod to plug it into my tv for movie watching. also buy this one over the older 160gb it's the better version.

There are reviews for this all over Amazon and the web. The thing I like the most is that now when I run I know that this will put it in my face when I get home. I know I am being tracked from my speed, heart rate, etc. If I choose to slow down the graph will show it as plain as day. I love it!

Also there is a free product out there that it much better than the out of the box software this comes with. It is called SportTracks...google it.

Great product that does exactly what it says it will do. You can use Garmin Connect to upload your runs to the web and you'll be able to see all the stats of your run (heartrate, elevation changes, distance, etc.) in addition to seeing it plotted on Google maps. You can also share your runs on social websites like Facebook and Twitter if your into that sort of thing. I live in Okinawa, Japan and the Forerunner 305 has absolutely no issues picking up satellites. The heartrate monitor is as comfortable and comparable to the monitors made by "Polar". In my opinion, Garmin is superior as far as GPS devices go (I've owned Magellan and Delorme as well). Awesome product that works as advertised.

This is my first iPod and I got it last October 2009. I use it daily and download songs all of the time. I don't see me getting to 4000 songs any time soon. I have almost 1000 so far. I am also an older citizen. Who would have thought a person like me would have an iPod. It is fun and I can listen to my songs without my husband interfering. I was going to bed with it in my ears but it was so confusing when a song would wake me up. I actually woke up my husband and told him to turn the alarm off. Of course he realized I was listening to my iPod and said to quit taking it to bed or sleep on the couch. I do sleep better without it. I also got used to downloading songs from the iTunes store. I got used to being able to download just the songs I like and not have to but the entire CD for many singers. Don't usually like all of the songs on a CD all of the time. I recommend iPods to anyone that likes to listen to music. The only thing I didn't like are the earphones that come with the iPod. I actually bought the ones that are like plugs at WalMart and I like them so much better. They are smaller and fit right into my ear. Love it. I have the purple and the ear plugs are also purple. Look great together. Right now it is on sale from Amazon. I got my from Apple and paid $149.00 and Amazon has it today for $121.00 I think. I like the engraving from Apple but is it worth paying and extra $28.00? I like it. Personal choice. Anyway, I love my iPod.

I recently upgraded from my 8yr old 1 GB Apple iPod Mini and could not be happier! I was actually looking for a good portable FM radio for commuting on the train from NJ to Manhattan, and tried a few other Sony Radio Walkmans without much success. Finally I decided to spend the extra $130 and invest in an all in one gadget. I have to say I'm in love with this new iPod, the Radio works like a dream on the train all the way into the city except the last 5 mins in the tunnel, I love being able to tag songs for downloading later. I was able to just plug and sync my existing iTunes library. The only thing I'm not so thrilled with is the battery life, I wish it was longer so that I didn't have to remember to charge it every 2-3 days.

Used it within a few days after receiving it for a trip to northern Ontario. The only road we found that wasn't there was a private road. We did find that there were some small roads in Michigan that are on a Tom Tom, but not on the Garmin nuvi (even after updating the maps). You only get one free map download (and I think there's a time limit for when you can get it). After that, you have to buy updates from Garmin.

I went from a Zune to the Ipod Touch and man what a difference. Sound wise they're the same but the apps make this a killer device. After onboxing it I was browsing the web and downloading apps in minutes. It really is like a mini pc you can take everywhere. I absolutely love this gadget and cant see myself going anywhere without it. I was really surprised to see so many free apps online too.

It does everything the Iphone does except make phone calls (and who wants to call someone when I can just text them or throw them an email from my iPod?) I love my Ipod Touch! It is extremely fun and useful. I almost use it more that my computer (it connects much quicker to the Internet). You can do almost anything you can on your computer if you dont't mind the smaller images. If it only had an incorporated mic and camera it would be the best thing ever (that's why I only gave it 4 stars)! The problem with it not having a mic is that you have to have the headphones that come with it to use some of the voice features, and I usualy either use it without headphones or with my Bose ones. I didn't want to have to pay $20 a month for an IPhone so I opted for the IPod. It really is neat, but I do find myself now carrying both my regular cell phone and IPod around. The IPod has so many features that it really does make my life easier, I have to have it with me all the time. It was a great product, and as always, Amazon did a wonderful job delivering it. I wanted this for my birthday, but ended up deciding a bit too late. I ordered really late Thursday night and my B-day was the next Wednesday. There was no way it was going to arrive....wrong!!! I received it on Tuesday, only 3 business days later. I was amazed and extremely happy. Thank you Amazon and Apple for making my day!

I have found more uses for this than a simple mp3 player. I love i can watch movies or TV shows on it.
The only downside is that if you are using the WiFi, the battery runs down quickly. but turning that off when not needed solves that problem.

It is strong enough that my 2 yr and 5 yr have not managed to break it either. And they also use it.

This may be the coolest thing Apple has ever invented!

WOW - Just wow! I have owned every iteration of Apple products dating back to 1984 with the first 128K Mac, but this mouse is just the coolest thing I've ever used by them. (even better than my iPad) First the gestures that come standard with the mouse are a giant plus as far as mice go. But if you really want to use this mouse to it's fullest benefit download (free) MagicPrefs. With that application you can use combinations of finger clicks to do things like switch between spaces windows, drag and pinch to use Expose and much more, If this mouse were twice the price I'd still recommend it. Thanks APPLE!

Loved the "Wow factor" attribute. Seriously, this Magic mouse has the coolest design I've ever seen! I can pretty much rate it as the Mice's world Aston Martin! (Because everytime you think of an Aston Martin, is that silver one that 007 is always in :))

If you are still struggling with that stupid ball on your Apple mighty mouse, this is what you need!

I mean, how many mice can I buy in one year?! I loved the mighty mouse, but over and over, that little ball just kept glitching out. So I tried a logitech and my hand started hurting. Then I found this mouse. I LOVE it.

The scroll function is so gentle and easy to use. I never get a sore hand or wrist pain and it works effortlessly.

I did have to go through some gyrations to get the scrolling to work with 10.5.8 the instructions of which were easily found on the web. I followed them and had the mouse up and running in no time.

I'm about to buy one for the other mac in the house.

Great little camera, excellent underwater!

I shot this using the Kodak PlaySport while snorkeling off of Ixtapa, Mexico. The water wasn't the clearest, but I did get pretty good results. It looked really great in the pool. It also looks great above water! I use it at my son's baseball games and I have been amazed at the quality. Hands down the best thing about this camera is the size. It's so easy to slip in a pocket and just carry around. Great little vacation camera. My only complaint is that the control wheel is a little small. I would often accidentally stop recording while trying to zoom in or out. You get used to it though and it is a minor annoyance. I highly recommend this camera.

Best Water Proof HD Video and Still Camera.

I am a Canon diehard fan. But Canon does not have anything that compares to Kodak Playsport HD waterproof pocket video camera. At 1080P the video recording is acceptable. But, at 720p and 60 frames per second this camera rocks, the results are great. I have used it around and in water, the blue filter helps under water. I am planning to use this for our Disney World vacation this year in the Water Parks.

This camera takes 5MP HD Stills, so now I have a camera that can take video and stills on demand wet or dry. I have other camera's in the same category like Flip and Samsung both do not compare, even at 720p 60 frames per second. $150.00 pricetag is also very affordable.

Easy to carry, very user friendly to move files from the camera to the computer or directly to Youtube. Nightvision would be nice but most of my recordings will be in Daylight. Bottom line great camera and I have no cons to talk about.

Western Digital 1tb External

Have had it for about a month now and I have no complaints. I had to format it for my mac which was easy. And even after formatting it is still compatible with my XBOX 360 which is a big plus for those who like to back-up movies and music. It has no fan but I haven't noticed it heating up even after intense use, like day one when I put 600+ gigs of movies and music on it in one sitting. This is my second Western Digital external, the other was a 250gb and is still working after the last 3 years of heavy use so I have confidence in this brand.

Cons- they don't offer one pre-formated for mac, and no firewire

Pros- Cheap!and Functional, works with XBOX 360

Product works beautifully. I have had it for a few weeks now and everything is running smoothly. I have seen no signs of anything even hinting to go wrong. I actually ended up dropping it on the carpet from about 18" up while the external was connected and the computer it was connected to was on. There was no damage to the drive or the data on it and it powered right back up. There was no data being transfered during this however. The only attribute I would give 4 stars to is the speed but thats just my personal opinion because it took like 6 hours to transfer 400 GB

Samsung UN55B8500 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED HDTV

Fantastic set!

I'm very impressed with this set. It's extremely expensive but I got it for around 50% of its MSRP. I wouldn't have spent MSRP on it, but that has more to do with a cap on how much I will spend on a single electronics device rather than the quality of the set. Definitely worth it vs. many other LED TV's out there.

The styling and depth of the panel make it shine above the competition and after calibration the set really shines.

If you play games, you will have to use game mode as the picture processing adds about a 45ns delay to the picture over the audio. This can be tweaked with an AVR receiver but if you are playing a game that required precise movement you will notice the delay. However, in game mode everything works great and still looks great.

It would be nice if there were more LED zones, but the set still performs fantastic. I don't find the glossy screen to be an issue at all... if anything I prefer it and this is coming from someone who swears by matte screens in regards to computer monitors. The glossy screen helps deepen the blacks and really makes the color pop. It is a mirror when the set is off or a black screen is displayed but the brightness of the backlighting is enough to wash it away in my setup during mid day.

Lastly, I find the TV performs better during the day or with lights on. When I shut out all the lights, the blacks lose a bit of their absolute blackness and I can see some spill-over from the LED zones. This can be corrected by tweaking some settings for night view. I have read that in the maintenance menu you can enable day/night modes but I do not feel comfortable changing settings and possibly voiding my warranty not even two months out of the box.

The online features are mostly gimmicky.. but then again I bought this set for the picture quality not the widgets. The connectivity to your network is great. Streaming media works fine but if you have a video source with subtitles the subtitles will not come through unless rendered into the video (not very common these days). The ability to perform firmware updates is a huge plus.

All in all the positives greatly out-weight the negatives. This is a great set if it falls within your budget.
